Staffordshire Country Homes

Staffordshire Country Homes is a group of residential development and commercial construction companies based in Endon, Staffordshire.

The group was founded by its managing director, Michael Cox, with the initial philosophy of developing small, but highly exclusive, residential projects throughout Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Lancashire.

However, as Michael has considerable knowledge and experience within the commercial construction industry in addition to residential development, the company has diversified its strengths and is currently undertaking, and will continue to foster, commercial construction projects alongside its residential developments.

The group currently comprises Staffordshire Country Homes Limited and Lancashire Country Homes Limited (the residential development companies) and Staffordshire Country Homes (Construction) Limited (the commercial contracting company).

The ethos of Staffordshire Country Homes is that the closest of attention must be afforded to all clients, whether they are commercial clients or individuals wishing to purchase one of our new homes.

The group also prides itself on employing local labour on its developments and projects wherever possible to promote good links with the local business community and to foster relationships that produce high quality workmanship and standards.
It is our belief that honesty and openness is paramount to the group’s success.

Michael Cox - Managing Director

Michael is the founding director of Staffordshire Country Homes and has over 20 years’ experience in the construction industry, both commercial and residential. He spent more than 10 years of his career as a company director for the likes of the national housebuilder, Antler Homes, and also for regional companies such as Ladson Construction and Greenleaf Homes.

He is currently a Member of the Chartered Institute of Building, the Chartered Institute of Arbitrators, and of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors. He also has MSc Construction Law and Dispute Resolution and BSc Quantity Surveying qualifications..

Jane Cox - Company Secretary

Jane is the company secretary of Staffordshire Country Homes and has almost 20 years’ experience in property and construction law. She was a key member of the commercial property departments at law firms including Halliwells LLP. She has also worked in-house as Group Solicitor at Eric Wright Group Limited heading up Legal Department for the group of construction, development, investment and civil engineering companies and worked in-house for residential development companies.

She is a practising solicitor and also has a Diploma in Construction Law and Dispute Resolution.

Residential Developments

Staffordshire Country Homes offers a variety of beautiful and unique residential properties on small developments within the Staffordshire, Cheshire, and Lancashire areas.

The latest addition to these will be eight, four-bedroomed detached dwellings at Ford Green Mews in Stoke-on-Trent. Full details, coming soon.

Alongside Ford Green Mews, Staffordshire Country Homes currently has developments at Millfields Manor in Nantwich, Cheshire, at Monks Farm in Westhoughton, Lancashire, and at Roughcote Grange in Caverswall, Staffordshire.

Commercial Projects and Services

Alongside its residential arm, Staffordshire Country Homes offers a range of commercial construction services through its contracting company, Staffordshire Country Homes (Construction) Limited.

The two most recent projects completed are the high profile pavilion and facilities for Longton Rugby Union Club at Trentham Fields, Stoke-on-Trent and a new clubhouse and facilities for Longton Harriers Football Club in Stoke-on-Trent.”
