Staffordshire Country Homes are proud to have constructed the new, two-storey clubhouse and changing facilities for Longton Rugby Union Football Club at Trentham Fields following a move from their old ground at Roughcote to coincide with the club’s promotion to a higher division, Midlands Division 1.

The completed project features six changing rooms complete with toilets and showers, along with disabled facilities (including lift), referees’ changing areas and equipment stores on the ground floor.

The first floor features a large function room with bar facilities and the latest IT equipment, high specification kitchen, toilets, a separate members lounge and bar and an office. External building works included car parking facilities, floodlighting and hard landscaping.

Completion took place in May 2008 with the official opening taking place in September attended by the local MP and dignitaries. More details and photographs can be found on the club’s own website: www.longtonrugby.co.uk.

Staffordshire Country Homes took up sponsorship of the club during the construction phase and has renewed its commitment to the club for the 2008-9 season.
